Product development
From the moment you first contact us, we’ll be your partners in investigating a coating solution that performs the task you need it to do. First, we’ll find out as much as we can about your company and what you do, and help you determine the problem you need solved. Maybe you’re in the meat industry and you need a special food-safe coating that allows you to freeze your product in the box but won’t stick to the meat. Or perhaps you’re looking for a way to protect valuable papers from damage in a damp warehouse environment. Whatever your dream coating is, we’ll help you find it.
Custom converting
For many of our customers, we convert rollstock from Liberty Paper. LPI’s “Dreamcatcher” paper machine is housed in the same facility as our coater. We take advantage of proximity to supply base stock rolls to the coater without incurring transportation costs. LPI manufactures 100% recycled linerboard in basis weights from 23-56 lbs. per 1000 square feet (msf).
Toll coating
We can also purchase, trade, or use your supplied paper. You’ll find our toll coating services cost effective and efficient.
Equipment
Our Jagenberg coater is one of the largest in North America. It enables us to convert rollstock into many different types of coated paper.

Unlike other coating companies, Dreamworks Coating Solutions does not wind its coated papers directly off the coater when the coating is still wet. We take the extra step of rewinding the rolls. That means that coated paper produced by us come to you without splotches, streaks and other mistakes hidden in the roll. The bottom line: All DCS rolls are shipped defect-free from the core to the outside wrap. Our coated papers eliminate waste and extra work at your plant.
